The smoke has cleared and now it’s down to playing out the games. No longer are the teams that “look good on paper” relevant, it’s the teams that have proven they can win. And, if the Jets manage to defeat the (2-1) Tennessee Titans this weekend they will have taken another step to solidifying their “on-paper” team.
“We got some dogfights ahead of us,” veteran right guard Willie Colon said. “There’s no qualms about it. But what’s helping the team is our confidence. The defense is playing well. Our offense is starting to pick up a little bit.”
